If you were inspired by shogi player Hifumi Katō’s voice acting debut in Layton Mystery Tanteisha: Katori no Nazotoki File, the staff are looking for more voice acting novices. A classified ad on the Town Work website is seeking out a voice actor to appear in the series in late May.

The chosen actor will get hands-on guidance from the series’ sound director Ryō Tanaka and get the opportunity to interview him. The interview will appear on Town Work’s official website. The job will last for one day and includes a salary of 30,000 yen (US$280) plus travel expenses from anywhere within Japan.

The anime is based on Level 5‘s Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy game that focuses on Katrielle “Kat” Layton, daughter of Professor Hershel Layton. Like the game, the anime ise set in London and follows Katrielle as she solves mysteries with her talking dog Sherl. Kana Hanazawa (Infini-T Force‘s Belle Lynn, March comes in like a lion‘s Hinata Kawamoto) stars as Katrielle.
