Ryosuke Nakamura is making the jump for anime writing and directing to the world of Disney. The Grimgar, Ashes, and Illusions director and screenwriter wrote the main scenario for the beloved animation studio’s “Technologia Mahō Gakkō” (Technologia School of Magic) software, part of the Disney’s Online Programming Learning Material line.

Set for release on Saturday, the software teaches programming and creativity while using Disney characters. It operates under the theme of “programming is modern magic” and features an original story set in a magic school followed by additional lessons from the worlds of Frozen, Big Hero 6, and Aladdin with 13 different Disney works appearing in the game in total.

Nakamura wrote the original scenario with character designs by Mieko Hosoi (Psychic School Wars, Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū). The original characters are voiced by an all-star seiyū cast. Junya Enoki voices Akito, Tomokazu Sugita voices Scol, Saori Hayami voices Rin, Aoi Yūki voices Sakura, Aimi Tanaka voices the fuzzy Meemiru, and Hideyuki Tanaka voices Principal Lloyd.

Additional voices include:

The BIC CAMERA Lazona Kawasaki Store in Kanagawa will hold a launch event on April 21 and April 22. The event will go over the software and host a photo booth that can add the software’s characters to pictures.
