Hey all! I’m rather new around these parts and the idol scene in general. Although I’m afraid that this article doesn’t contain any new stuff in terms of idols. But I though I’d start off by writing about something I know well.

Kamen Rider!
Yes, the long running Japanese kids television series.
But this isn’t so much about the riders themselves. This article is here to talk about Idols, in Kamen Rider. Some of you may know who I’m going to mention in this article. Though, I doubt these are all the idols who have made appearances in Kamen Rider. It’s just the ones that I know of, and who have actual characters. Not just some 30 second cameo.
Let’s kick things off with 2 girls quite a few of you may know!
Tomomi Itano & Tomomi Kasai as Queen & Elizabeth (Kamen Rider W)

In the series ‘Kamen Rider W’, Itano and Kasai played the gossip girl duo known as Queen and Elizabeth. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a decent picture of them in character for this article. Queen and Elizabeth became a sub-unit of AKB48 for Kamen Rider W, releasing a single made for the show. The single was titled ‘Love=Wars’. An official music video for the single soon followed.

Now, let’s move on. Next up, we have the woman who received the title “Best Butt in Japan” in 2007.
Rina Akiyama (Aka Oshirina, haha) as Mana Kazaya (Kamen Rider Agito) & Naomi (Kamen Rider Deno-O)

Rina Akiyama, actress, gravure idol, and tarento. I don’t know much about her character Mana Kazaya, since I didn’t watch a lot of Agito. However, her character, Naomi from Den-o is basically the waitress of the DenLiner. 2007 was the same year Den-O started, so it’s no wonder she won “Best Butt in Japan”. Her character spent most of her time clad in black and white leather. Akiyama has also made some small cameos in both Kamen Rider Ryuki and GoGo Sentai Boukenger.

And now to finish with something completely different…
Sure, Kamen Rider has had idols in the show. But it has also made idols.
The idols are known as the…
