The April issue of Shogakukan‘s Monthly Sunday GX magazine features Rei Hiroe‘s Black Lagoon manga on its cover and bundles a calendar for the series.

The calendar covers the period of April 2018 to March 2019. In addition to previously published color manga illustrations, the calendar includes newly colored illustrations. People who purchase the digital version of the magazine issue will find a keyword on the page 5. They can then enter the keyword on the magazine’s website to receive six exclusive calendar wallpapers for smartphones.

Q-taro Hanamizawa also launched the Love App romantic comedy manga in the same issue.

Hiroe’s Black Lagoon manga went on hiatus in 2014 and resumed last May. The action manga tells the story of a four-man team of mercenaries who operate in Southeast Asia, smuggling goods with their World War II PT boat and performing odd jobs that often involve and end up in shootouts.
