My Hero Academia creator Kōhei Horikoshi is a success story. His manga and its subsequent anime adaptations are hugely popular. The series has 13 million copies in print, has two top-selling volumes and is the fifth highest seller series for this year’s first half. Across the ocean, three volumes ranked on NPD BookScan’s Top 20 adult graphic novels list for April.

But Horikoshi doesn’t do it all alone. He also employed assistants, including Yōko Akiyama. Akiyama has made it out on her own with the manga Saguri-chan Tankentai (Saguri-chan Expedition Party). The series runs on Shueisha‘s Shonen Jump+ app and follows a girl who previously suffered from a weak constitution but since her recovery, loves exploring new places.

Horikoshi is supporting his assistant’s newly released second manga volume. The book includes a collaboration illustration drawn by Horikoshi featuring My Hero Academia protagonist Deku as well as a message from Horikoshi.

The new season premiered on April 7. Funimation is streaming the English dub of the third season, and Crunchyroll and Hulu are streaming the series with English subtitles. The season will have 25 episodes.
