While out on the streets of Tokyo, we came across Mawo and Yoh, two teenage girls whose edgy and colorful streetwear looks easily caught our eye.

At the left is Mawo, a long two-tone fringed hairstyle. The 16-year-old student is dressed in a yellow Kappa jacket with contrasting side sleeve stripes, worn over a black cropped printed tank top from Y-3. She paired her layered tops with remake cutout jeans, and finished off her look with black platform lace-up shoes from Demonia. Her accessories – some of which are gifted – include oversized silver hoop earrings, a ball chain necklace layered with a silver rosary necklace, a black leather belt, lip piercing, and multiple knuckle rings. Mawo loves to browse at resale shops, and she likes the music of Yowai The Maid. She is active on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Yoh stepped out in a green fuzzy sweater with white bow prints, tucked into a hot pink pleated skirt from Peco Club. Pink ribbed leg warmers with green bows from Club Lovage over white fishnet tights, black Demonia platform shoes, and an Oh Pearl mesh sling bag completed the 15-year-old student’s outfit. Rainbow hair falls with her fringed twin tails, and a pink beaded necklace are the finishing touches to her colorful street style. Yoh’s fashion favorite is RRR by Sugar Spot Factory, and she loves listening to J-pop music. For more of her streetwear looks, follow Yoh on Instagram.
