The highly-anticipated English version of D4DJ Groovy Mix is now available to play on iOS and Android mobile devices!
The game was officially released on May 27, 2021 on the App Store and Google Play Store.
Turn up the heat in D4DJ Groovy Mix, a free-to-play DJ-themed Rhythm/Adventure game set in a world of DJs and heart-thumping nightclubs! Players will be able to engage in a variety of activities, including fully-customizable Solo or Multiplayer rhythm gameplay, collecting members for their DJ units and a deep, immersive storyline!
STORY
Follow the daily lives of 6 different DJ units — Happy Around!, Peaky P-key, Photon Maiden, Merm4id, RONDO and Lyrical Lily. Learn about the background of each unit and immerse yourself in their stories with full voice acting and expressive Live2D animations for each character! The plot ramps up in intensity as the units find themselves preparing to challenge the stage at the biggest DJ Event in recent history, D4 FES!
Watch characters from different units interact on the overworld, as they chat to each other about a multitude of topics in various parts of the map!
LIVE SHOWS
Play more than a hundred original songs and covers of anime and J-pop smash hits in either Solo or Multiplayer lobbies! With D4DJ’s extensive customization system, players will be able to adjust the rhythm game’s UI, speed and buttons to their liking: take complete control of sliders and scratches in Manual mode, or go hands-free with Audience mode.
For the musically inclined, D4DJ’s DJ Time mode allows players to earn the same rewards as rhythm gameplay from mixing songs! With a variety of effects and switches, players can remix their favorite tunes like a pro DJ!
COLLECT AND TRAIN MEMBERS
Collect members from various DJ units and use materials earned from Live Shows to unlock their true potential with training! LIMIT BREAK members with the items you’ve obtained to increase their stats, and reveal gorgeous animated art for rare members!
Play in Events to collect exclusive members and costumes!
CLUB
Take charge of your own personal nightclub — setup and upgrade club items to both decorate your stage and improve the performance of your DJ Units!
Create custom medleys from different tracks and watch them seamlessly transition between each other during gameplay! Visitors to your club can check out your setlist and leave likes, stamps and comments in your Guestbook.
ABOUT D4DJ PROJECT
Following the success of “BanG Dream!” and “Revue Starlight”, “D4DJ” is a brand new media mix project from Bushiroad with “DJs” as its theme. D4DJ will show you a new world of DJs through DJ Concerts, Anime, and Game! In addition to remixing famous songs that transcend generations, the project will also create original songs.
The anime “D4DJ First Mix” was released on October 30th 2020 with subtitles in 15 languages, followed by the mini-anime series “D4DJ Petit Mix” on February 5th 2021.
