September 20, 2021 Orange County, California – Japan Product Promotions (JPP-USA) organizers of the annual OC Japan Fair, will be hosting it’s 100-participant cosplay showcase contest on the main stage on Saturday October 16th at 4:00 PM.
The cosplay showcase is a popular event for the three-day Japanese fair, which is produced for a crowd of approximately 3,000 spectators on the main stage. Participants can expect music, announcement of their cosplay, and also a 20 on-stage exhibition.
Participants are also given free sponsored goods from OC Japan Fair, including Pejoy, Calpico, and Asahi JurokuCha.
The cosplay showcase is typically judged by a panel of three selected industry members with a prize announcement presented the day of the event. The judges will be determined and announced during the show. During previous cosplay showcase events, contestant winners were given free tickets to Anime Los Angeles, and an Anime goodie bag with a value over $200 in prizes.
